Dr. Terry is an Assistant Professor of Urology at the University of Florida College of Medicine and the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. He completed urology residency training at the University of Florida, followed by the 2-year fellowship in Endourology, Metabolic Stone Disease, Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery at Duke University Medical Center. During fellowship, he received an AUA Research Scholar Award for my project "In Vitro Assessment and Optimization of New Laser Lithotripsy Technologies for the Treatment of Kidney Stones."
Dr. Terry's clinical focus at the University of Florida is the medical and surgical management of complex kidney stone disease. His VA practice is primarily prostate cancer and minimally invasive urologic oncology. His research interests include artificial intelligence, deep learning, medical imaging radiomics, laser lithotripsy, metabolic kidney stone disease, and the development and testing of novel medical devices.
